An orchestra is a group of musicians
who play together different instruments. There are 20 kinds of different
instruments in an orchestra.
There are four sections or families of instruments in a
modern orchestra:
- The string section: violins, violas, cellos…
- The woodwind section: clarinets, flutes…
- The brass section: trumpets, trombones, tubas…
- The percussion section: drums, xylophones, triangles…
