Youtube as a tool for learning English

Youtube and its music videos is a tool for the English classes.

An easy way for learning English is listen to music in English. If you read the lyrics at the same time you can learn lots of words, expressions, you improve your pronunciation, etc.

I show you a tool that let you listen to the song and read the lyrics at the same time in Youtube. It's a extension for Google Chrome.

Follow this link: Musimatch and install the extension (remember, in Google Chrome).

Once installed you'll watch the videos with their lyrics:

And if you want to download the song in MP3, you only copy the Youtube's URL and paste in the next web page:

Then press on the Record MP3 bottom and in a few seconds the song will download into your computer.

Assign Kahoot as homework

Now, the teachers can assign Kahoot as homework. Here are the instructions (for Android phones or tablets):

• Go to Google Play and download the app Kahoot (obviously, only the first time you're going to play).
• Open Kahoot app.
• At the bottom of the screen, press Enter PIN

• Now, write the Game PIN (the teacher gives you it) and press Enter.
• Click on Accept.
• Press on number 1 (the questions are in groups of three).

• Finally, write your name or nickname and clic on OK, go!

• And... Ready? Steady? Go!!
• When you finish round 1, press on number 2, and so on...

Halloween recipes

Hace unos días os proponíamos hacer comida terrorífica para Halloween y el resultado fue increíble. Las comidas que trajeron los niños y niñas nos sorprendieron muchísimo. Ese día todo el Colegio disfrutó comiendo ojos, arañas, dedos cortados, brujas, huesos, momias, telas de araña, tumbas, trozos de cementerio, ...

Almuerzo Halloween

Pretendemos, con la ayuda de todos, hacer el próximo día 30 de octubre un almuerzo Halloween.

Así todo el alumnado del Colegio tendrá la oportunidad de almorzar hamburguesas monstruosas, plátanos fantasma, brochetas monstruosas, brownies de fantasmitas, fresas fantasmagóricas, paninis de momia, huesitos crujientes, dedos de bruja ensangrentados, ojos sangrientos de galleta, tumbas de chocolate...

Will future expresses a spontaneous decision, an assumption with regard to the future or an action in the future that cannot be influenced.

Use of will Future

·         A spontaneous decisión. Example: Wait, I will help you.

·         An opinion, hope, uncertainty or assumption regarding the future. Example: He will probably come back tomorrow.

·         A promise. Example: I will not watch TV tonight.

·         An action in the future that cannot be influenced. Example: It will rain tomorrow.

·         Conditional clauses. Example: If I arrive late, I will call you.
