Almuerzo Halloween

Can you hear me?

In this song a deaf boy describes its world, what he can see, how he feels the sun, He's happy but he'd like to hear our voices singing.

Can you hear me? by Bob Chilcott

I look around me as I grow
I'd like to tell you all I know

I see life
With all it's energy
The city streets
The rush of time
This is my world
It's where I like to be
So much to see
So much to find

I sometimes sit and wait a while
I see the sun
It makes me smile

Can you see it?
Can you see it too?
Can you see it?
Can you see it too?

I feel life
With all it's energy
The joy of waiking every day
This is my world
It's where I like to be
So much to do
So much to say

I sometimes sit and feel the sun
Its warmth
Is there for everyone

Can you feel it?
Can you feel it too?
Can you feel it?
Can you feel it too?

My world is a silent one
But it's enough for me
I hear you
Through your hands
The movement sets me free
But it could be a special thing
To hear your voice
To hear you sing

Can you hear me?
Can you hear me too?
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me too?

I look around me as I grow
I'd like to tell you all I know

Can you hear me?

Ethan's song

Below you can see, listen and read a beautiful song. It was written by a mother for her blind son.

Ethan's song by Katherine Mount

What do you see when I sing?
What do you feel when you’re watching me?
Can you imagine what music can be?
Where do you go in your mind
When you can see that I’m singing?
What do you hear inside your head
Music...
Your music...

I know that I feel joy
When sound connects to feeling
When that vibration meets the air
Maybe you can see the notes
Floating to the celling
Or maybe there’s simply
Nothing there for you
Nothing there

What do you see when I sing?
What’s the emotion for what I do?
Can you imagine what it means?
Music
My music
And your music
Will always be yours
I’ll never hear it
Any more than you’ll hear mine
And our music
Is through our hands
And that’s just fine
It’s beautiful

What do you see when I sing?
I see you watching and loving me
So I’ll sing for both of us
I’ll sing it loud and strong
And your music
Is my music
And we’re both
Where we
Belong
